Seabourn Pursuit

January,I had the exceptionalopportunity to escort my client onSeabournPursuit toAntarctica. While I could go on and on about the experience, this review will be about theship. The Pursuit was delivered in 2023, and her sister the Venture in 2021. They are new,purpose-builtExpedition Ships with all the bells and whistlesto make any expedition cruiseexception. She boasts an ice breaker haul, and millions of dollars of technology to makeremote travel safe and comfortable. With a capacity of 264 passengers (132 suites) she isthe perfect size for remote destinations.

First, she has 2 MAJOR benefits. She has 2 separatevenues that can hold the entireships’capacity all together atone time. The Restaurant and Discovery Center (the theater) areperfect for hosting seminars, expedition talks, then moving to dinner all together as agroup

Finding a ship of this size where the passengers can be togetherin multiple venuesis difficult and Seabourn fills a void in the C&I marketplace with this.Food venuewise there are5 options forguests, again a great variety for a shipof this size. The Restaurant is the culinary hub of the ship, serving breakfast and dinner dailywithexceptional food and service. TheColonnadeis the shipscasual option serving buffet stylebreakfast and lunch, but also rotating a fewmenu items you can order at the table. Fordinner, it switches to asit-downvenue with a rotatingdaily theme. In warm destinationsyou can also experience The Grillfor dinneroutside of TheColonnadeon deck 5 poolside,in colder climates they bring this inside 2 nights a voyage. Seabourn Squareis the grab andgo coffee stop onboard serving breakfast pastries, small sandwiches, smoothies, gelato, etc.throughout the day.

The Club on deck 9 serves sushi for dinner daily, which is perfectfor those days when you just want something light and quick.Public space is also exceptionally wellthroughoutfor a ship of her size. There isTheExpedition Lounge on deck 4that serves as the perfect cozy location to grab apre-dinnerdrink amongst electric fireplaces and fur pillows. On deck 9 there isThe Clubwhich has asmall dance floor, screens or Karaoke, and is a fantastic place for live music or a DJ atnight.ConstellationLounge has floor to ceiling windows at the bow of the ship withbeautiful views ofyour destination for cocktail parties, afternoon tea, oranything else youcan dream up.

The ship boasts all verandah suites with honestly, themost comfortable cruise ship bed Ihave ever slept on! Walk in closetsanddrying spaceswith warmersfor your outer layerswhen going out onan expedition. The bathroom has a large soaking tub and rain shower torelax in after a strenuous day ofhiking, kayaking, or whatever you choose to do. There aremultiple categories ofhigh-levelsuites starting with the Penthouse. A nicemid-levelsuite isthePanorama with floor to ceiling windows and a small sitting area where you canwatchthe beautiful scenery go by or perhaps take a warm bath in your soaking tub overlooking thefloor the ceiling windows as well. Then there is the crown jewel of this ship, TheWintergarden Suite. This 2 story loft style suite with 2 story windows, full living room, dinning room, 2 bathrooms, butlers pantry for hosting a party, and the option of a secondadjoining room is sure towow even your most discerning c-suite executive.

The ship has a pool deck with a beautifulinfinitypool on the aft of deck 5 with 2 hot tubs oneither side, with a nice little pool bar. On deck 9there are 2 more hot tubs and bar for amore secludedexperience. The ship has multiple sizes of zodiacs that can take the entireship off all atonce orallow forshifts of excursions. There are kayaks and 2 submarines, both at an additional charge. It is also important tonotethat they cant operate in everydestination depending on restrictions, wild life, etc.All in all, I absolutely loved this ship. The client I went with chartered this ship, site unseenand they were blownaway by it, and are working on chartering her again. She is truly a5-starproductthat offers a unique opportunity to explore the most remote destinations ofthe world in pureluxury. I would highly recommend her, and her sister ship, to anyonelooking for a luxury expedition program.
