Celebrity Reflection

I boarded the Celebrity Reflection for a short4-dayholiday sailing in early July 2024. TheReflection is the 5th of the Solstice Class of ships from Celebrity Cruise Linewith her debutin 2012. The CelebrityReflection wasrefurbished in October 2022. I found my boardingexperience on Celebrity Reflection to bestandard timingwith the lines moving well in PortEverglades. It was about 45 minutes from my car tobeing onboard theship. This cruisestopped at 2 Ports in the Bahamas. A Perfect Day at Coco Cay (Royal Caribbeans PrivateFun Island)anda stop at Bimini Island in the Bahamas. This cruise was completely soldout with 3046 passengers on board the 125,366 gross ton vessel.

Because this was ashorter cruise, plus a summer holiday cruise and stopping at the PERFECT DAY island, wehad 602 children under the age of 18 on board. That’s significantly more children than youwouldnormally see on a premium line, but Celebrity diditsvery best to keep themoccupied with the limitednumberof activities they offer children in comparison toitsparent company, Royal Caribbean.

Some of the highlights from this short cruise includedhaving some refreshing cocktails up on deck 15 at the Lawn Club. Where you’re actually onagood-sizedsection of real lawn grass enjoying the ocean views outside. Live music wasalways playing somewhere close by on the Celebrity Reflection. The music variety, which isnormally geared at a more matureaudience, did have it mixed with some newer music totry to entertain some of the younger crowd also. The specialty restaurants on CelebrityReflection included Tuscan Grill, Qsine and Muranofor an additional cost. The main diningroom on the ship is called the Opus and it’s two stories high spanning decks3 and 4. TheOceanview Buffet located on deck 14 is always an option for a quicker dining experience. Ifound the theater shows to be entertaining and enjoyable. Celebrity always puts a lot ofeffortintoits entertainmentproductions, and itreallyshows.

There are several unusedbars/lounges during the daytime that could easily be utilized for space for your next groupevent. The Celebrity Reflection, like all Solstice class ships has the Martini Bar on deck 4with an actual frozen bar top at all times,to always keep your beverage cold.

The FortunesCasinois of good size and has been updated with many of the newer slot machinesforguests to enjoy. They also have a good mix of table games. All the regulartax-and duty-freeshopping is also available. Everything fromjewelry to clothing to liquor and so much morewere available for purchase. I had great accommodations this cruise with a Sunset AFTBalcony stateroom on deck 7. Ihighly recommend this category and locationto anyonelooking foran amazing180-degreeaft view with an oversized balcony and a quiet location.

My final thoughts of Celebrity Reflection. I found the Celebrity Reflection to be anicelargeship that could offer your next group or event at sea a great opportunity for a memorableexperience.
